Role Overview This role is critical for fortifying Verto's application security by conducting penetration testing, embedding automation into CI/CD, and ensuring a security-first culture across products and infrastructure. Responsibilities Conduct penetration testing for Web, API, and Mobile (iOS & Android) applications. Perform secure code reviews, with focus on Node.js, and provide remediation guidance. Automate security testing and integrate with CI/CD pipelines. Write scripts for automating security tasks. Develop and implement best practices (OWASP Top 10, SANS 25). Monitor and strengthen AWS cloud security, including auditing & penetration testing. Collaborate with teams for early threat modeling and risk assessments. Create and maintain security playbooks for incident response. Eligibility Criteria Proven experience in penetration testing (Web, API, Mobile). Expertise with security tools (Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Python scripting). Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash). Hands-on experience in secure code reviews and remediation. Solid knowledge of OWASP Top 10, SANS 25. Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines. Cloud security expertise, especially AWS (IAM, monitoring, infra security). Familiar with Agile and DevOps methodologies. Preferred Skills Experience with Node.js application security. Relevant certifications (OSCP, CISSP, CEH, AWS Security Specialty, etc.). Experience in startups or fast-paced environments. Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible). Domain experience in fintech, logistics, or e-commerce.
