The Prospect Direct Mail Analytics team sits within the Analytics, Investments and Marketing Enablement (AIM) group in Global Commercial Services Marketing and focuses on analytics, insights and data products for commercial customer acquisition and growth. Purpose of the Role The Analyst – Data Analytics will own end-to-end analytics for Commercial Prospects Direct Mail campaigns. You will drive growth in commercial acquisition and charge volume using machine learning, advanced methodologies, disciplined test & learn, and strong partnership across teams. The role requires translating business problems into analytical and ML solutions and influencing strategy through data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities Drive profitable acquisitions via Direct Mail by meeting ROI, acquisition and revenue goals using optimization and experimentation. Define, design, create and implement analytics & data science solutions for the Direct Mail campaign lifecycle (lead generation → performance measurement). Collaborate with Prospect Marketing, Finance and investment optimization to set channel goals and influence strategy. Research and evaluate commercial data sources and work with external vendors to improve data quality. Create data segmentation & targeting strategies to optimize prospect selection and offers. Translate business problems into machine learning problems and collaborate with Decision Science to assess model value. Work with ML and Tech teams to deploy analytical solutions that boost targeting efficiency. Perform strategic analyses, synthesize conclusions and communicate recommendations to partners and senior stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Finance, Economics). Strong programming skills: Big Data languages (Hive, Spark, Pig) and Python (or R/Java). Solid SQL ability required. Experience leading cross-functional work to deliver business outcomes. Strong analytical & conceptual thinking to solve unstructured business problems and present concise insights to senior leaders. Ability to work independently and across matrixed teams (marketing, decision sciences, risk, vendors). Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with quantitative background. Experience with machine learning techniques (XGBoost, decision trees, NLP models) and commercial data. Experience in A/B testing, experimentation frameworks and model evaluation.
