About the Team: Paytm Payment Gateway enables thousands of online merchants to deliver a world-class, frictionless payment experience to their customers. Serving both large enterprises and emerging startups, the gateway is more than just a payment enabler — it’s a strategic growth partner driving revenue and user engagement. As a B2B business regulated by the RBI, this team is responsible for expanding the penetration of Paytm’s Payment Aggregator and Payment Gateway (PA PG) services among Indian merchants. About the Role: We are seeking self-motivated professionals to join our Business Product Management (BPM) team to drive Paytm’s business goals. The BPM team bridges Product/Technology and Sales, leading product ideation, benchmarking, roadmap planning, GTM strategies, and overall product penetration. Expectations / Requirements: Analyze market trends and competition to identify innovative product ideas. Collaborate with Sales and Product Development teams to prioritize product roadmaps. Drive go-to-market (GTM) strategies and enhance adoption of new and existing products. Represent Paytm in merchant sales calls as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). Develop detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and coordinate digital product journeys. Identify product gaps and collaborate with the development team for continuous improvement. Coordinate with multiple departments—Product, Business, Compliance, Finance, Legal—to ensure alignment. Superpowers / Skills That Will Help You Succeed: Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Development or Product Management, preferably in payment card systems. Strong knowledge of card ecosystems, tokenization, pre-auth/capture, and international card payments. Fintech or Payment industry experience is a strong advantage. Analytical, data-driven mindset with the ability to justify decisions using metrics. Proven experience working across teams and achieving consensus in a dynamic environment. Experience with GTM planning and product performance evaluation. Background in consulting, startups, or top-tier tech/product roles preferred. Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering preferred).
